The VM02 Concept was the second Viper ever produced. Unlike VM01, VM02 used a V10 engine, although it was built of iron instead of aluminum. VM02 also used a Borg-Warner 6-Speed manual transmission instead of VM01's Getrag 6-speed. The body of the car was again built in fiberglass, but was painted red, had a taller windshield, and had a sport bar similar to the Viper show car and production car.
